From morning preparations in the suites to outdoor ceremonies in the gardens, confetti outside the main entrance, portraits by the water feature and a full evening celebration in the Grantley Suite, the whole day can flow beautifully in one place.

I also love how well Grantley Hall works in every season. In summer, the gardens and outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxed portraits and golden evening light. In winter, the interiors, soft lighting and cosy atmosphere create such a beautiful setting for elegant wedding photography.

And just as importantly, the team at Grantley Hall are brilliant at making the day feel seamless. Everything is handled with such care and professionalism, which means you can relax, enjoy your wedding and trust that all those real, joyful moments are being captured as they happen.

The Royal Suite is an exceptional space for getting ready on the morning of your wedding. The mezzanine level allows you to keep the main suite beautifully clear and uncluttered, creating a calm, elegant backdrop for your getting-ready photos.

In addition to the Royal Suite, Grantley Hall offers a number of stunning bedrooms and suites, all designed to provide a peaceful, luxurious environment — perfect for relaxed preparations and quiet moments before the celebrations begin.

There are so many beautiful portrait locations at Grantley Hall, but a few real favourites stand out.

I love photographing confetti moments outside the main front entrance, which always feels grand and celebratory. The back lawn works perfectly for relaxed group photos, and then a gentle walk through the gardens and alongside the water feature is ideal for more intimate, romantic and epic couple portraits.

The variety means we can capture a mix of elegant, natural and emotional images without ever feeling rushed.

Yes — Grantley Hall offers some spectacular outdoor ceremony options!

The beautifully landscaped grounds provide a perfect setting for an outdoor wedding, with a choice of the Front Lawns, West Lawn or the elegant Garden Pavilion. Each space offers a slightly different feel, allowing couples to choose the setting that best reflects their style, while also creating stunning ceremony photographs in natural light.

If privacy and exclusivity are important to you, Grantley Hall does offer an option to book the entire estate exclusively for your wedding. Exclusive-use weddings include full access to the grounds, facilities and all 47 bedrooms and suites, giving you and your guests complete privacy throughout your celebrations.

From a photography perspective, this allows the day to flow effortlessly, with uninterrupted access to every part of the estate and complete freedom to capture your wedding story from start to finish.
