Cake smash photography is such a fantastic way to mark the milstone of your babies first birthday. I absolutely love being a cake smash photographer, I love seeing the wonder and joy on their faces as they taste the cake for the first time.

Each cake smash is as unique as your baby. Some start really tentatively, looking to you for permission to have a taste and other babies prefer to full on launch themselves into a cake smash. Either way, it’s a magical expereince.

Back To Cake Smash

I recommend booking your cake smash photoshoot nice and early to be sure that I can fit you in the diary. Cake smash photoshoots usually take place during the week and I have both morning and afternoon slots. I usually recommend doing the cake smash between 4-6 weeks before your babieses 1st birthday, this allows me to edit your photographs and for you to come back for a viewing and select your favourite pictures and choose your package.

You can choose from something lovely for the wall, a print package or a digital image package.

I’ll build a set in my studio for each individual cake smash. These can vary in colour theme and often involve balloons, sometimes bunting or paper decorations to add some colour and texture to your photographs. We can have a telephone call before your photoshoot to dicuss colours and prefered designs. I’m always happy to chat.
