Yes! I have photographed multiple weddings at Spicer Manor. I know the best spots for portraits, how the light moves through the venue at different times of day and how to keep things calm and relaxed while capturing all the important moments.

Spicer Manor has a dedicated getting ready room, designed specifically for the morning of your wedding and ideal for groups of up to 10 guests. Complete with a kitchenette, wine cooler, fridge, bathroom, separate wc, changing area and salon chairs you will have everything you need when it comes to making sure you all look incredible.

Having a dedicated getting ready room means your morning feels unhurried and organised and allows me to capture those quiet, emotional moments as well as the excitement as everything comes together.

 Spicer Manor specialises in three-day, exclusively yours weddings, meaning the entire estate is dedicated to you and your guests throughout your stay. The lovingly restored Manor House sleeps up to 35 guests, creating a relaxed and intimate setting for morning preparations and evening celebrations.

From a photography perspective, exclusive use is a huge advantage. It means:

  • No other weddings or guests in the background of your photos
  • Complete freedom to move around the estate at your own pace
  • A calm, unhurried atmosphere throughout the day

Having the whole estate to yourselves allows me to capture your wedding naturally and authentically, documenting the full experience — from quiet morning moments through to evening celebrations — without any restrictions.

Yes — Spicer Manor offers a beautiful outdoor ceremony option on the Front Lawn. From a photography perspective, this area is ideal. After your ceremony, you have a choice of spaces to enjoy drinks and celebrations.

For photography, this part of the day offers endless opportunities — from candid moments of guests chatting and enjoying lawn games, to relaxed group photos, confetti throws and romantic portraits. With Yorkshire stone walls, rustic oak beams, the grand staircase, social courtyard, paddocks, lawns and sweeping countryside views, Spicer Manor provides a stunning backdrop at every turn.
