where do I start… just amazing! Lisa is so professional and welcoming! you would think it would be stressful with a new baby but totally the opposite! Lisa sat us down with a coffee and took full control! just a natural with babies and Florence was so content with her! first and foremost Lisa was focused on Florence’s comfort, you can really see that in the images! Florence was so relaxed / fast asleep! lovely warm studio too! Lisa didn’t rush and got every image I had asked for as well as some beautiful family pics!! loved the whole experience and can not wait for more family pics in the future and will hopefully be bringing baby number 2 next year!! I can not recommend this lady enough! She’s a star!
I booked with Lisa when I was around 20 weeks pregnant and we have been in regular contact since. Lisa checks in throughout pregnancy sending well wishes which made me feel like we were already friends before we met. This friendly online manner doesn’t stop there and as soon as you are greeted at the door with a hug you know your baby is in the safest of hands.
I’m a first time mum that hasn’t always enjoyed handing my baby over for others to cuddle but felt none of that anxiety today. I enjoyed every moment watching my boy in Lisa’s safe hands. Lisa’s passion for photography is clear to see, she has endless patience and the calmest nature with the babies. I cannot thank you enough.
We had our newborn session with Lisa when our little one was 7 days new. Lisa was absolutely brilliant with her and made us all feel so relaxed whilst she created her magic. She really is the baby whisperer! Our photos are absolutely gorgeous and we are so glad we will have these memories forever and it is all thanks to Lisa!
We took our little girl to have her photograph taken with Lisa and it couldn’t have been more perfect, such a lovely woman, was so welcoming and nothing was too much. She made us feel so relaxed while she photographed our daughter and she did an absolutely brilliant job, she really knows what she is doing and does everything to make sure your baby is happy and safe.
When we received the photos we were absolutely overjoyed with how they turned out, and we purchased every single one!
We will definitely be returning and we can’t wait.
Lisa had given me the most gorgeous photo’s of my 2 month old baby and her older sister. She was amazing in the photo shoot so warm and friendly and great with my girls I would highly recommend her if you are looking for family photo’s or maternity or newborn shoots.
Lisa photographed my newborn son in August. I loved the photos on her page so booked it at my 20 week scan. I trusted her 100%, she was great handling him and calming him when he was wingy – I wanted to bring her home! We sat with a cuppa and a biscuit watching the whole process, it was such a treat seeing him in all the different looks. Lisa completely understands new parents and didn’t mind when my boy had an accident on her hand! We now have photos of my newborn that we will cherish forever. The family photos really capture that special time in our lives. Would definitely recommend Drawn by Light and will be using Lisa in the future I’m sure x
I felt really comfortable around Lisa. We were photographed on location in a park, for a 3 generation family shoot with our cousins, aunt and uncle, mum and dad, grandparents and 3 dogs.
Before meeting Lisa I was quite nervous, I am quite a shy person. Lisa put us all at ease meaning that I could be myself and get some really stunning photos, the quality is amazing. Overall it was a great experience, I loved it and enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I would recommend Lisa to anybody who’s looking for a great photo experience.
Had a fabulous photo shoot with my daughter’s yesterday. Was rather nervous but no need as Lisa is fantastic. A lot of laughs and great fun.

We were bought the maternity and newborn shoot as a gift from our lovely family friend and thanks to Lisa we now have gorgeous images that we will treasure forever.
Lisa is wonderful and bubbly and makes you feel so welcome! Lisa took her time to make me feel amazing during our maternity shoot- quite a task at 7 months pregnant when you don’t particularly feel very glamorous!
Our daughter Emilia arrived 3.5 weeks early and had to spend a fortnight in the hospital meaning we had to rearrange the shoot several times- Lisa couldn’t have been more accommodating and found us a date just 3 days after we’d returned home.
She was also amazing with our daughter in her newborn shoot too. Emilia was 17 days old on the day of her shoot and wouldn’t sleep but Lisa worked her magic and got the fabulous sleepy shots we were hoping for.
Today we went back to choose our photos- they’re so good we had to have them all. Lisa didn’t once make us feel pressurised to buy any particular product and really helps you decide which package suits you best.
The whole experience has been fabulous from start to finish and we can’t wait to take Emilia back when she’s a little older. Lisa is so very talented at photography and we can’t recommend drawn by light enough.
