Drawn By Light’s very own Lisa Kershaw is an award-winning wedding, family & newborn photographer working from her studio in Elland, near Halifax in West Yorkshire.
Clients regularly travel from Halifax, Huddersfield, Leeds, and Bradford as well as further afield from Manchester, North and South Yorkshire for their baby and family photography.
A respected and dedicated professional photographer, Lisa is passionate about making sure that you enjoy the experience of having your wedding and family photographs taken as well as creating beautiful family heirlooms that will hang on your walls as pieces of art for years to come.

Lisa has become a lifelong photographer for lots of families across Yorkshire and beyond. She loves to photograph a couple’s wedding, only to see them return in years to come for their maternity and newborn portraits, 1st birthday cake smash, and family portraits, year after year.

I live in West Yorkshire with my husband, two lovely children and my black labrador, Finn. This means that I am used to working really hard to get lots of smiles when photographing children, pets and families. Trust me, I’ve had lots of practice.
Photography has always been a huge part of my life, My grandfather was a freelance photographer, my father has always been a keen photographer, so I suppose it’s in the blood and inevitable that I would always love being a photographer. I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have a camera and love photographing anything and everything.
