Wedding Photographer | The Fleece at Ripponden | Alise & Marcus | West Yorkshire photographer

Alise & Marcus were married at Clay House park in Greetland clay-house, followed by a stunning Wedding breakfast and reception at the Fleece countryside Inn at Ripponden  http://fleece-inn.com

I was thrilled when Alise & Marcus asked me to be their West yorkshire Wedding Photographer.

It was an amazing day filled with love and family and we were made to feel so welcome, like part of the family. We were so sorry to leave.

Relax, get comfortable, perhaps a glass of something lovely, maybe a tissue and be prepared to spend the next 9 minutes reliving a spectacular day.

Bridal preparations at the Fleece Countryside Inn, Ripponden West Yorkshire

Alise and her beautiful bridesmaids Laura & Rachel got ready at The Fleece countryside inn, along with her mum, the adorable flowers girls Poppy & Harlee, and her pageboy Freddie.

Everything was really relaxed, Alise had planned everything maticulously and was determined to be on time and enjoy her big day. Hair & make-up was well underway.

All ready in plenty of time to leave for the beautiful Wedding

Wedding ceremony at Clay house

Clay house at Greetland, provides some very beautiful gardens for lots of photo opportunities. It was a beautful day for a stroll and a few pictures.

Great Wedding reception and party at The Fleece Countryside inn, Ripponden.

The guests were transported to the Fleece on a gorgeous vintage bus. They were eager and arrived early, but nothing phases the team at the fleece, they were ready. Once there, they were treated to a drinks reception and gorgeous canapés.

The Fleece, provides an amazing vista for some gorgeous photographs. It was a really blustery day so there was lots of hanging onto hats and hair blowing but everyone braved the cool wind to let us get a few quick pictures before returning to the warm welcome inside.

We were treated to some great speeches. Lida articulated the perfect blend of heartfelt and hilarious; She managed to have everyone in tears, rapidly following by raucous laughter.

Marcus’ Godfather led the family & friends in some of Marcus’ families Ukranian Traditions. There was a lovely rendition of Mnohaya lita and a final toast of “Slava” meaning bitter, meaning Alise & Marcus then need to kiss to sweeten the wine. He also invited anyone during the meal to tap their glass, again inviting Alise & Marcus to sweeten the wine. Alise’s Nan thought this was a great opportunity and did a lot of glass tapping during the meal. It also meant the Ukranian tradition of shot drinking was well observed during the meal & well into the night.

Alise looked stunning in her gown, but come twighlight (My favourite time of day) it didn’t stop her scaling a wall to make sure we got some beautiful sunset shots.

The party was kicked off with the amazing first dance, with Marcus looking very handsome twirling the new Mrs Miskiw around the dance floor, and from then on, the dance floor was full. These families know how to party. Thanks to everyone for including us and the lovely warm hugs as we left them all to it to dance and drink shots late into the night.

An amazing day with lots of amazing suppliers.

A special thank you to my hardworking assistant, Danny Thompson

A special mention to the amazing Fleece countryside inn. They did a fabulous job. What a beautiful venue with amazing food and service. The team were so slick and professional. I can’t wait to go back when I’m “off duty”
